A Woman's Heart

An evening of scenes and one-acts inspired, directed, and acted by women.

Featuring Yesterday's Window by Chiori Miyagawa and Breakaway, Backdown by James Patrick Kelly, with scenes from Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest and William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night.

How does a woman define her true self? Is it by her social status? What she has or hasn't done? Or is it her shoes - the black sparkly ones that she'll never get to wear again? "A Woman's Heart" explores these questions through characters who travel through space and time, fight over lovers, disguise themselves as men, and ultimately discover that their strongest muscle is their heart.

With live cello by Laurie Meeder

Featuring Genevieve Aichele, Meghann Beauchamp, Christy Cloutier Holmes, Sofia Piel, Lisa Richardson, Kathy Somssich, and Kathy Wurtz.
